Everyone Deserves Cognitive Health for Life.
A crucial issue confronting our society is learning how people can maintain cognitive vitality throughout their lives. In particular, by the year 2030, one in five Americans will be 65 years old or older. As this number grows, so will the number of people facing age-related cognitive impairment and diseases, such as Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The Center for Vital Longevity is leading the charge to address this health crisis.
The CVL brings together a group of research scientists who are using advanced brain-imaging technologies and research techniques in cognitive neuroscience to understand, protect and enhance the vitality of the mind across the lifespan.
Our research aims to identify who is most at risk of cognitive and social impairment and evaluate interventions that might prevent or halt these impairments.
Whether you’re able to give $10 or $1,000, every dollar you give helps fuel innovative research and foster the next generation of scientists, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows who embody the future of academic research, teaching, and discoveries.
